I wonder if I will ever truly be satisfied with the Twilight.
Just when I thought I had it licked with Twilight 6, I could never quite be happy with the way the blades attached to the arms; it just seemed too arbitrary.
So here is a minor revision; the guns have once more departed from the arms, instead to be replaced by an additional pivot that seems much more natural -- finally some of that flexibility I always wanted is actually in place.
I also added a turret on the pelvis and generally beefed up the spine, but even still it is remarkably top-heavy.
Finally, I reduced the legs from four segments to three, because four really was completely absurd (one can only suspend so much disbelief); and again, I bigged the legs up a bit so he now has good, wide, child-bearing hips.
All in all, he has come out of it looking much more satisfying. I suppose only time will tell if I don't come up with more annoying parts.
I'm still quite in love with the artillery setup on his back. And there was very little chance of the penis-gun disappearing.
Then indeed: Milkshape relatively recently added precision controls to the UV-mapping interface. So now my lines really do all sit on 0.5, 0.25, etc rather than very rough approximations.
